The part where the chain hoist gear relatively frequently fails is the root portion of gear. The common damage is the cracking of gear tooth root.
1. Uninterrupted using for a long time cause the fatigue and wear, no lubrication and maintenance, increase the mechanical wear of chain hoist gear, resulting in cracks;
2. When the material or process do not meet the standard, will occur crack when the chain hoist is used;
3. The tooth surface of chain hoist gear is not adjusted when installing.
4. The chain hoist has not been proper storaged after use, or use inferior lubricating oil causes corrosion.
During the use of chain hoist, if find a failure, immediately cut off the power to stop working, check the gear, if there is a crack or broken teeth, should ask the professional maintenance personnel to replace the gear.
