The lubrication is the most important methods to ensure the normal operation and extend the service life of the overhead crane and gantry crane. If improper lubrication, it may cause fever, bite, accelerate the parts wear, and even make the overhead crane and gantry crane stop working, affect safety and production efficiency.
Crane lubrication basic requirements
Overhead crane and gantry crane lubrication should follow the principle: where there is a shaft, a hole and the friction surface, should be regularly lubricated. Due to crane machine working conditions (using frequency and different environments, etc.), lubrication should be based on the specific circumstances.
Small and medium-sized overhead cranes and gantry cranes generally adopt dispersion lubrication, use oil gun or grease cup to lubricate each lubrication point separately. Large crane machine more use centralized lubrication, centralized lubrication includes manual pump refueling and electric pump refueling.
Lubricants are divided into three categories of lubricants oil, greases and solid lubricants, overhead cranes and gantry cranes lubricants oil are mechanical oil, gear oil, cylinder oil, etc .; grease is a colloidal lubricating material, is a mixture of lubricating oil and thickening agent at high temperature, in fact, is a thickening lubricating oil, some grease will add additives; solid lubricant includes molybdenum disulfide, graphite , Tungsten disulfide and the like.
