What kind of I-beam is used? At present, the I-beam used in cranes is mainly GB706- 65 and YB163-63. In general, the I-beam grade used for the mobile gantry cranes track cannot be lower than Class B. For example, a 3 ton suspension hoist single girder bridge crane can use 25B I-beam.
I-beam is also called steel beam, it is a steel material with a cross-section of I-shaped, can be divided into three types: ordinary I-beam, light I-beam and H-shaped I-beam. Regarding ordinary I-beams and light-weight I-beams, relevant standards have been formed in China, and H-shaped I-beams are still using European standards. HW and HN I-beams in H-type I-steel series have extensive production and application in China.
