The overhead traveling crane brake failure

The brake is an important safety component of overhead traveling crane, which can effectively make start and stop smoothly and prevent the suspended objects falling, plays an important role in improving the accuracy and safety of the overhead traveling crane. During the using, the brake may be formulated failure, brake force is too low and appear smoke and other issues due to high temperature, the main causes of these problems are as follows:
1. Brake wheel wear seriously, braking force is insufficient.
2. The brake appear off phenomenon, braking force reduces.
3. The main spring adjustment is not tight enough.
4. There is dust, oil and so on between brake belt and brake wheel.
5. Hydraulic push rod brake impeller has some problems, the reaction is not sensitive.
6. The distance of brake and spacer is unreasonable, too small will increase gasket wear speed; too large will lead to lack of braking force.
7. Brake pads falls off seriously.
8. Electromagnet is stuck by other things, can not work properly.
