In general, there are two direct causes of the crane wire rope jump out of rope groove: the wire rope is slack, and the wire rope is offset from the center of rope groove. Under normal conditions, the wire rope runs on the pulley trough or the reel trunk, once the wire rope breaks, it may cause serious accidents. The following conditions can cause wire rope jumping:
1. The operator operations are too fast or during the lifting process, the spreader swing drastically will cause the wire rope jump out of rope groove.
2. The anti-jump device on the rope groove fails and cannot play the role of anti-jumping rope, should replace in time.
3. The materials bundled is incorrect. For example, the center of gravity of the spreader and the center of gravity of the material deviate too far.
