The reducer is an important safety component of overhead traveling crane, which can effectively prevent the suspended objects falling, start and stop smoothly, plays an important role in improving the accuracy and safety of the overhead traveling crane. In the process of using, the reducer may have brake failure, brake force is too low and the brake disc temperature is too high and other issues, the main reasons of these problems are the following:
1. Reducer brake wheel wear serious, resulting in insufficient braking force.
2. The brake has falling off phenomenon, reducing the braking force.
3. The main spring adjustment is not tight enough.
4. Between brake belt and brake wheel exist dust, oil and so on.
5. Hydraulic push rod impeller has problems, the reaction is not sensitive.
6. The Distance between brake and the gasket is unreasonable, too small will lead to resistance, speed up the gasket wear speed; too much lead to lack of braking force.
7. Brake gasket is worn out seriously.
8. The electromagnet is stuck by other things, can not work properly.
