Overhead Crane and Gantry Crane gnaw rail

The overhead crane and gantry crane machine or its hoist, for some reason leading to the wheel rim and rail side contact, cause the wheel and rail side wear, this is gnawing rail. Gnawing rail is a common fault, need to be handled in time, the damage caused by gnawing rail include:
1. Shorten the wheel using life
Overhead crane and gantry crane wheels are quenched after processing, the service life can generally reach more than 10 years. If once gnawing rail and not process to solve, continue to carry out routine operations, will greatly reduce wheel sevice life to only 1 to 2 years.
2. Damage rail track
Gnawing rail will not only damage the wheels, it also damage the track. If therail track is worn badly, will lead to the crane machine traveling instability, may cause potential safety problems. In the end, only can replace new tracks.
3. Increase operational resistance
The emergence of gnawing rails, trolley or traveling mechanism running resistance will be 1.5 times larger than normal, making the motor, transmission at full capacity, may burn the motor, broken bearings.
